FLOATAN Line
An environmentally friendly alternative
UNITÁN developed the line FLOATAN for applications in mining industries with special characteristics and low specific consumption.
FLOATAN modifiers represent an important environmentally friendly alternative for improving flotation results.
FLOATAN is especially indicated in the flotation of sulfides with the presence of argillaceous gangues and in separations of complex ores, in addition to traditional applications as a carbonate depressant.
Special Features
Our FLOATAN products perform very well in deposits with proven argillic alterations and when working with very fine clays or highly fractured minerals with the presence of alterations; in this case, it has good performance by adding doses of 50 to 100 g/ton in the Rougher of a 1:1 mixture of FLOATAN M3 and FLOATAN T5.
FLOATAN products are naturally derived reagents modified to be more selective and also soluble in cold water.
FLOATAN T1: is formulated for the depression of carbonate and silicate mineral gangues.
FLOATAN T5: is suitable for the flotation of sulfides in the depression of pyrites and pyrrhotites.
FLOATAN M3: is a dispersing and depressant reagent used in metallic and non-metallic flotation.
